About this game
Corporal Jake Murphy joins the Allied advance against Axis forces in World War II. The campaign takes him across North Africa and the Western and Eastern Fronts, with fifteen stages combining direct attacks, infiltration and defensive shooting. Move through overhead battlefields on foot or in a tank, fire and reload your weapons, and strafe while keeping your aim fixed. Action stages focus on clearing enemies; tactical stages reward watching patrols, avoiding searchlights and preventing alarms. Other stages put you behind a mounted gun in a first-person view, aiming at approaching troops and vehicles. Change weapon kits at bunkers, collect health and ammunition, and complete the main objectives to advance. Optional objectives earn rewards, while a link cable lets two players cooperate or compete on dedicated multiplayer maps.
