Metroid: Zero Mission Redux, also catalogued as Metroid: RE: Zero Mission, is an improvement hack of Metroid: Zero Mission by Meinos Belfort, first released in March 2023. It is built on the European release of the 2004 game and reworks routing and handling rather than the map: a custom HUD, faster wall jumps and transitions, Charge Beam drops that drift towards Samus as in the Metroid Prime games, optional unknown items, rebalanced bosses and a full recolour. Later revisions added new pathing, SNES-style controls and a progressive map that fills in as map stations are found.
