About this game

King has occupied Dr. Wily's base and threatens to take the museum's robot data, claiming robots should rule humans. Mega Man and his rival Bass set out to stop him. Choose one hero when starting a game. Mega Man can slide and charge his shots; Bass can double-jump, dash and aim rapid fire in several directions. Progress through connected action stages, defeat bosses and equip special weapons. Collect screws to buy upgrades at the Light Research Center, including character-specific help from Rush or Gospel. Find 100 hidden CDs to fill the robot database. You can save after clearing a stage or at game over. Midway saves are temporary and are erased when resumed; collected CD data saves automatically.

Also known as: MegaMan & Bass; Mega Man and Bass
