About this game

After an X parasite infects Samus Aran on SR388, a vaccine made from Metroid DNA saves her life. A distress call then draws her to the Biologic Space Labs research station, where the parasites can imitate their hosts. Jump between platforms, grab ledges and fight with beams and missiles. Follow computer briefings in Navigation Rooms, check the map and search the station’s six habitat sectors for hidden passages and equipment. Download ability data or defeat and absorb Core-X parasites to recover powers. Morph Ball, bombs and other upgrades open routes that were previously inaccessible. Absorb exposed X to replenish energy and missiles, and save at Save Stations using one of three files.

Also known as: Metroid 4
