About this game
Pokémon Project Nova is a difficulty-focused ROM hack of Pokémon FireRed by Gilko, set in Kanto ten years after the events of FireRed and LeafGreen and still in development. Earthquakes have reshaped the region, exposing new areas such as Pewter Mines, the Celadon Sewers, Emerald City and the Mystic Forest, and giving rise to regional variants known as Nova Species. Trainers run perfect IVs and competitive AI, Set mode is enforced and bag items are barred from battle, while a Pocket PC, Rare Candies in every PokéMart and trade-free evolutions keep the grinding down. The current build runs as far as the fifth Gym badge.
